- Cóil Dirrane. "Commander in Aran" scríobhtha ar an bpictiúr. Dúirt Martin Walsh as Sasana: "Cóil Dirrane and child was a picture given to me by a lady who was living on the island at the time and used to visit Gilbert's Cottage. They got along well, I recall. Her name was Dirrane (Teresa?) but I'm unsure if she was related to Stiofan Gilbert. If my memory serves me right, she was some kind of artist. The picture is of her Dad. I'm unsure now if the child is herself but it's most likely so. She loaned me the picture to enlarge and repair."
